The A level Preparation Program
You can study on this program for one or two terms, or a year.
To start the A level courses you will need to have a good intermediate level of English. If your English language skills need improvement we can offer you a full time course of English plus subject studies. You will have double English and a chance to study and sample from a range of subject choices.
If you have good language skills but did not reach the level required to start A levels we can offer a one year Diploma program, this will give you a chance to prepare for A levels and receive English language lessons. At the end of the year you can then apply to start the 2 year A-level course
What our students say about their courses
Wan Ching Ning
I came to study ay Worthing College in September 2006. I am now doing A2 Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I have applied to study Actuarial Science at Southampton University.
When I first came to study in this country, I found the life here very different from that in Hong king. However the teachers and students in the college are friendly, which makes college life very enjoyable. Students are provided freedom and opportunities in choosing subjects and in participating in different activities.
I have been staying with my host family (arranged by the college) for more than a year now. They are very nice and I enjoy spending time with them. I remember celebrating Christmas with them last year and was so unforgettable. I am very much looking forward to Christmas this year.
Pinky Wan achieved five “A” passes in Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics; she is now studying Actuarial sciences at University of Kent

There is no doubt that I really enjoyed the Maths lessons. I love the free and active atmosphere. The teachers are very friendly and helpful, they try their best to help you whenever you need. Also, I think they make the class really fun which exceeded my expectations. I believe many of my friends had the same feeling as me. All my other lessons are very good as well. I have learnt a lot and will definitely miss the time I spent here.
I think the best thing about the college is freedom. You have lots of opportunities to go out and do anything you are really interested, for instance, sports, charity, or work experience. After school, there are lots of other things you can do.
